A pair of beautifully Framed rare and very finely crafted, soft erotic Woodblock prints by Keisai EISEN 1790 – 1848.

Mounted on a single mat and framed to Museum Conservation Standards. Print tipped to acid free foam core backing & mat by rice paper hinges upper corners & wheatflour starch adhesive and True Vue 99% Anti UV Glass.

“Kyodai no Mae” (In Front Of A Mirror). Originally printed in Bunsei, Edo period, circa 1820’s. This edition beautifully printed on traditional Washi paper by ISYU-KANKO KAI 1950’s-60’s. Number 5B of a limited set of 36.

Print 2
“Abunae – Kotatsu no Naka” (Inside by the Kotatsu heater). Originally printed Bunsei Edo period, c1820’s. This edition beautifully hand re-carved & printed on traditional Washi paper by Kyoeudo 1950s-60s . Only 100 sets published. Number 12 of 30.

Both prints are in excellent condition.
